As it is officially the last day of Christmas, my decorations and tree are about to be packed away for another year.

As it is officially the last day of Christmas ...... I would just like to thank publically the owners of the wonderfully decorated (lights etc) house on the corner of Elm Grove Road & Exeter Road. It was a joy, a pleasure and very nicely done I thought. Well done and thank you very much for the effort !! 

And as it is officially the last day of Christmas ...... I was VERY suprised to see Sainsburys were already selling HOT CROSS buns this morning !!

Iceland sell Kingsmill branded Hot Cross buns all year round  £1 for six. I find them really tasty with some nice cheddar and  brown sauce

Hmmm ...... call me old fashioned, but it takes all the excitement away when always things are readily available and there is no anticipation. Fruit buns on sale is one thing, but to put a cross on them? Why? 

@FredBassett - i like your thinking though. i would imagine that would be well tasty
