I thought I would share some of my favourite dishes of the cuisine of India.

Following the link below will take you to a page of links for recipes for an appetier, mains, side dishes and a desssert, along with recipes for a selection of Indian breads

Hope you enjoy them, and have a crack at home made dishes rather than having a takeaway or store bought dishes

Just tried your scone recipe again. Found it a bit chewy and not good with jam and cream. I will try it again with cheese, i think the recipe will be better as a savory one.

I will try some of your others, but please can you add some photos.

@scarlettruby - many thanks for your kind words. great to know someone is reading the articles and appeciates them. hope you will continue and enjoy trying them yourself.

@Philip - thank you too. i hope you will both encourage friends and family to join up and become fans of cooking with tallyrand. the more the merrier. hopefully making my articles more interactive, posting requested recipes, answering questions about anything culinary and the likes (=[:-d

@ZIGGY - yes they do have a bit of a chewy texture, compared to the usual scone. but as the recipe points out, its a quick and easy recipe aimed for those not quite skilled in the kitchen. as to photos, its very difficult to post them of the actual dishes, as these recipes are coming from my extensive personal library and for the most part, my aim is to post recipes based on requests. food pics of course being  an art unto themselves, and trust me i have done many photo shoots over the years ...... and you would not believe what goes on to get  those perfect pics you see on professional cookery websites, books from jamie and the likes.

I will however post some pics of dishes in general soon (maybe starting tonight) of dishes previously created and served in one of my establishments

@Paul - Hi Paul, only  just noticed the photos that you posted (usually i get an email when someone has posted something) GREAT stuff !! Not sure if it was my recipe that inspired you to make your own or not, but either way its wonderful to see someone get into the kitchen and give it a go :-)

If I can get enough interested followers and find a big enough kitchen, maybe a cooking demo, a class etc might be of interest to people?
