I'm renting a flat close to town centre, with no parking facilities. Need long term parking, within 5/10 minute walking distance of train station. Any ideas?

There are some reserved spaces at Lanherne, driving into the car park and turning first right. Not sure how many are left - they are mentioned in this article. Try the number/email.
The same place as dozens of other locals, West Cliff Road, I've been parking there for years.
Thanks for that (including Jools .... ur sense of humor is close to mine) , will try them all today. Keep posting if anyone has any other ideas.
Several people I know who live in Brunswick Place park there. There is a footpath which takes you down to Barton Crescent at the entrance to the Barton Car Park, that's why so many cars are parked at that particular place in Westcliff.
But if you want to be near the station you can park just off Teignmouth Hill, it's often quite full there as a very popular parking spot for people living in Town.
It depends if you want a reserved space (paid for) or just want to find somewhere to park.
Lanherne is on the corner of Exeter Road (same side as To the Max hairdressers). Its the sheltered accommodation but if you drive through to the right there is a section of reserved parking.
When i lived in town i always parked in Coryton Close its the second left after the Barton car park
Coryton Close is fine but very difficult to find a space there days that's why I didn't suggest it, and if you want to be near the station it's just a couple of minutes walk from the Teignmouth Hill end of Westcliff Road.
I am pleased to see that vehicle checks are carried out more than we realise, have seen two cars clamped for no Tax in Westcliff Road recently, the owners probably thought it was a safe place to park an untaxed vehicle.
