Unfortunately Dawlish is a downmarket town and is unlikely to change. Thats the sad reality.

Dogs used to be allowed on the beach from the viaduct up to rockstone. The only problem being dirty nappies, coke cans, fruit peel, condoms and sanitary towels left behind by thoughtless child owners!!!!

I LOVE IT! Someone asks where to eat out in Dawlish and end up being directed (and going to) Exeter!!! That says it all. SOOOOOOOOO glad I have moved out. from Dawlish to Exeter. Best move i ever made. Whats the chinese called? I'll check it out - I;m ten mins walk away. PS If you HAVE to eat in Dawlish its got to be the Smugglers. Good place.
