Hi Mrs C We are, we stopped off there last Easter Sunday after struggling to find somewhere to eat that would sit 6 , of us the food was very good and the service was outstanding. My Grandsons have requested to try it again. They are really looking forward to our annual Easter trip of karting, ice-cream and as many treats as they can sneak past each grown-up. Thank you for your reply.
Hi, Just a quick question if you don't mind, please could anyone give me any idea of events that are on in or around Dawlish and the Warren over Easter. We will be making our annual trip and I am wondering if the Mini cars will be on display again this year.? Many thanks in advance for any information you can give me
A huge Well Done to everyone involved in the organisation of the Dawlish Airshow. We had a lovely time sat watching a large part of this from the Warren, due to the huge traffic jam from Chudleigh but after driving around for a while we managed to find 2 parking spaces. We chose to jump on the train into Dawlish after the Red Arrows display and had a lovely time there too. After looking at the ...
Darn and I was bringing my own aliens to detect them...
It has turned into a subscription only service as of today. I will miss being able to list to the sea as I type up important minutes etc but don't think I could justify paying £20 a year to listen. Just means I'll have to travel to Dawlish more often to relax
We made a 260 round trip today to visit, eat ice-cream from our favourite shop and spend time just chilling. Thanks to everyone in Dawlish and the Warren for making it another great visit.
Well after a very long journey home full of traffic jams and a stop off at Ikea, we've not long got in from a fantastic weekend in Dawlish Warren. Many thanks for all of your suggestions for places to eat, we tried several of them yesterday, some i.e. The NOT SO Welcombe Inn and The Ugly Duckling will not get a return visit. I was surprised, and pleased to see The Welcombe open, we popped in on ...
We ventured along part of the wall on Sunday during a break in the rain, the tide was in so no walking on the beach this weekend for us.
When we were there last Easter you could walk straight through from Golden Sands to Peppermint Park
I'm really looking forward to coming back to visit soon, my Grandsons were devastated when they heard of the damage, and can't wait to come back and in their words "Check out our favourite place in the world." We have been watching the repairs via the new webcam and are ticking off the days until we get there
I visit Dawlish as often as I can and was astounded to see the damage on the news. I hope everyone there is safe and warm. Please take care of each other
