I agree with all of those. Plus tidying up the Strand, though I think the Regeneration groups are working on this. Theres a series on BBC Breakfast TV about how coastal towns are moving away from their 50s and 60s past - councillors should watch and learn.
You are slightly missing the point in that a lot of people on this site think its OK to not clean up after their dog. Its the justification of the irresponsibilty that is so awful. If I was Wally Protheroe I would mount a massive publicity campaign via the local press, put more poop bins and signs around and use the neighbour watch scheme to keep an eye on dog walkers. Your post does not equate with the facts. I am not interested in 'rumour' but in fact. The type of ecoli she died from came from DOG crap. Yes I'd like to enjoy myself too - but its hard when I'm having to watch out for dog crap because of lazy ***** who can't be bothered to clean up after their dogs.
