The guy's call to the emergency services was composed in the extreme.  I'd have been flapping big time.

Lynne, how much is this CIL money?  I'm playing Devil's Advocate here but, Weeks Farm aside, it's surely not unreasonable the Council wants, indeed needs the money ASAP, not least of all because of the endless complaints about reduced services and withdrawal of grant funding.   The money's got to come from somwhere. If £35 to TDC for green waste collections kicks off a riot, it seems they're ...

Is your other comment about MC not wanting this high on the agenda a throwaway remark or do you actually mean it?

Let it go JC, you survived the public vote. You'll keep people onside if you don't stir it up.

Lynne,  I'm not sure it's fair to 'shame' councillors to post about it here or anywhere else.   If you force the issue like that you'll surely just encourage pandering to the audience or weasel words.  As we've already seen, no comment is no indicator of no action.  Isn't it more appropriate that Mr Weeks make direct contact with councillors?

As per previous suggestions, a blocked filter or kinked outlet pipe might be stopping it from draining and it's cutting out.  If you leave it switched off for a few minutes does the door open? (Keep a bucket handy in case there is water in it!).  Here's your manual. http://www.manualsdir.com/manuals/214996/tricity-bendix-biw-125-w-biw-145.html

Have you done the basic things like switching it off and on again or turning it to spin? http://www.whitegoodshelp.co.uk/washing-machine-sticks-stops-mid-cycle/

I'm thinking Annother46's rather grandiose 'let the public decide' hasn't resulted in the landslide victory he/she expected.   That's because decent people don't like lynch mobs.
