I used to like IDS, but he must have gone soft in his old age, what a prat.

Budget, March 2016

I thought the budget was rather good. Nice to have a freeze on beers and ciders. Also a reduction of the tax rate on capital gains is very welcome.

Dogs kill owner

@Etrcoleman , thanks for the advice. From now on I will remember that dogs killing people is good.

TOTALLY OUT OF ORDER!!! Obviously the councillors are complete idiots, £100,000 on this complete load of cr@p, when rural bus services are being cut, (just one example). This is so outrageous that all of us should stop paying council tax. It's hard understand how this has happened, I just don't get it at all. We should find out which councillors voted for this and publish the list on ...

Congratulations to Major Tim Peake on his space walk, great to see the Union Flag in space. Why is the UK only spending a pitiful £320M a year on space when we spend £700B on welfare. We waste £18,000M on housing benefits alone. That is 56 times more than we spend on space exploration. We all benefit greatly from science and technology. A budget of only £320M is very short slighted.

It's got to be many times cheaper than building a new alternative route in land, which we all know will never happen. Why weren't the exsisting groyns replaced over the years?

To protect the railway line we should build substantial rock groynes and offshore breakwaters like Sidmouth has.

The Sainsburys end of Secmaton Lane is only 4 metres above sea level. So the stream has to travel about a mile before reaching the Exe with very little drop. This must be why that area is very difficult to drain. SWW have already done a lot of work in the area and perhaps further work is just too costly.

I'm glad Jeremy Corbyn is the new Labour Party Leader as all it has done is secured the Conservative Party in power for longer, which is great for our Country.
