I thought the budget was rather good. Nice to have a freeze on beers and ciders. Also a reduction of the tax rate on capital gains is very welcome.

I assume that you're not disabled?

He should have increased duty on beer wines and spirits by 30 or 40% and left the disabled alone.

He could have also increased fuel duty on diesel by 30 or 40% to get those polluting engines of the road and doubled the duty on fags saving the NHS millions and cutting down the amount of fag ends on the streets of Dawlish.

He could have stopped giving away tax payers money on Foreign Aid. Stopped 100,000s of ecconomic migrants from invading our country. Increased tax on second homes and his super rich Conservative party mates. Stopped local authorities from wasting money on stupid cycle paths and other minority group projects.

Loads of things, but they only do whats suits their particular party best or what Mr Obama, Rothchilds. and the Saudi royal family want them to

@leatash - why should drinkers get clobbered all the time?

@burnside - maybe it has something to do with Muslims not drinking and a weak PC government freigtened of upseting them.

Why because of all the dirty b******s who empty there stomach contents on my doorstep on a regular basis and piss on my doorstep and wake me shouting at each other at 0200 in the morning and the millions it costs the NHS and Police Forces thats why.

You are correct roberta my apologies for my rant but i do get tired of the nightly goings on with drunks.

Quite simply, roberta, I don't think it fair that certain sections of society get stung with inordinately high taxes when others pay little, or no tax at all.
