New to town

If you want wine there is a great vinyard at kenton.

If you look at the pile of crap that is left from the last auction at The Arms , you'll realise its just a dumping ground instead of going to the tip.

have to agree with you both. whilst others were closed over the festive and new year period they were heaving due to the number of tourists and families visiting relatives . I guess they took more money over the week than most places would take in a month in january and feb

Dawlish Street Market

Once a month or even four a year would be a great start. The town was very busy, which considering the lack of publicity was brilliant. Not only were the stalls doing a brisk trade , but all the shops were busy and the cafes rammed. A great day for dawlish , lets hope there are many more to come.

Petrol Prices

The difference between Alphington and Dawlish is 4p a litre , yet they are bought for the same price , so everytime you fill up at Sainsburys Dawlish they are sticking two fingers up to you and ripping you off. Marine Garage is 1p dearer. If you are driving from Dawlish and put the average fill in which is around 30 litres, it cost 30pence more to use Marine than sainsbury's but it will cost you ...

the abuse of blue badge holders is enormous . i regularly see people getting out of cars when they are on thier own, stick the badge in the window and run into a shop. They seem to think they can abandon the car anywhere and dont give a toss about anyone else.

Strikes

Thats the best ive heard for a long while. Can you imagine 67 year old Policeman running up stairs in blocks of flats. Ambulance men doing the same(they'd need one). Teachers, looking after 35 teenagers or 6 year olds. As for soldiers , it will be like Dads Army all over again. Im one who's union sold out last year. My pension immediately dropped from just under£6,000 to Not much above £2500per ...

Webmaster the pattern on here was so clear yet you did nothing about it, i hate to say it but this place is becoming a joke. It seems yet again you have let this moron attack a new poster on another thread. Why dont you get in touch with his web ...

Cofton
26 Nov 2011

We've had friends stay at Cofton, and the one complaint about the place was the swimming pool and surrounding area for sunbathing wasnt big enough for the number of people stopping. If you went in school holidays you couldnt get in the pool , as it was rammed and if you did the chances of swimming were near impossible. In this day and age and our weather you need to offer something else .
