We have just found out we have been awarded a gold for our mixed gourmet mushrooms in the Taste Of The West awards. We are proper chuffed. Big up the shroom crew you are smashing it!! Over the last two years The Lawn Working Group has been working on this amazing project. lets hope it won't take too much longer. I went to the Manor Play Park at the weekend with my family and couldn't believe how sad old and rusty the equipment was not that there was much there.
We will thank fully be reopening TUESDAY 27TH JULY! We will be continuing to use gloves and masks for our staff and would appreciate it if you would also be able to continue wearing a mask when you visit us where not exempt! Auditions for a Jack and the Beanstalk pantomime will take place at the Shaftesbury Theatre this Sunday 25 July. The pantomime, written and directed by Chris Matanlé, will be performed from 8-15 January 2022. Went to Sainsbury's this morning it was horrendous a lot of the shelves were empty no self distancing lots of people not wearing face covering including some staff. This weekend we will be showing the Wimbledon Finals on the Lawn Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon - so bring your chair, umbrella and picnic as it looks showers at times. We know there have been questions about showing the Football Final but for various logistical reasons we are unable to. We wish England well to bring the cup home!
Next Saturday (10th) the mayor of Dawlish will be holding a charity plant sale outside the centre , from 10am, all proceeds to support children's charity's. There will also be our craft inside, please come along.
