I have been into Cafe No 1 Bar at the bottom of Queen Street and provided I'm quiet and well-behaved I'm welcome there, both indoors and on the decking terrace outside. My masters like the atmosphere and the owners of the cafe are very welcoming.

Hi, We are a small family looking to move to Devon and Dawlish is high on the list. If anyone could give us some advice we would really appreciate it. In particular what is it like for young families, childcare, playgroups, schools etc? Many thanks

I'm amazed at the poor condition of Dawlish station. It send a very unwelcoming message to holidaymakers and visitors arriving by train. For a town that makes a big effort to pretty itself up, it's a shame that the station is so badly maintained. Does anyone know who is responsible for the upkeep? It'd be a good idea to get it sorted for next summer
