Thank you guys for always putting such lovely pictures on this site. I do not often post here, but I do see them and enjoy them. It was lovely to be walking the dog in Sandy Park this afternoon and see so many people enjoying the snow. It is not often that the snow visits here, but when it does, it takes seconds for kids to dust off their toboggans!!

The dredger "Mannin" had been picking up silt from Exmouth Marina and dumping it off Sprey Point in Teignmouth. Last weekend the beach at Teignmouth changed from red to black, causing deep concern. The Marine Management Organisation (MMO), a Government organisation, withdrew the licence from the Mannin to do this on Monday (or maybe Tuesday) after this was reported. In the meantime stormy seas ...

Back in the seventies I saw graffitti with an anarchist symbol that said, "If voting ever changed anything they would make it illegal." However I still cast my vote, for what it is worth (sigh).

However when I do venture out on my boneshaker, I tend to avoid cycle lanes that are shared with pedestrians. This is mainly because pedestrians have no obligation to indicate their intention of moving suddenly left or right, so I find it is safer for me to use the road. If, ...

Good for you Leatash for taking the time and making efforts to help someone. Unfortunately your energy was wasted on that person who is an idiot on two accounts. Firstly for dumping the statements like that, which may be forgiveable under some circumstances, but also for abusing you which is completely unforgiveable. I believe (or certainly hope) that this will not deter you from doing further ...

A small Dawlish establishment wanted to hold a sponsored dip in the sea on Boxing Day morning. 10 a.m. meet, dip in the sea which would involve people going in about up to their waists, then running out, fancy dress optional. Then meet back at the venue for festive drinks. Proceeds to the neonatal unit at RD & E hospital. What could possibly go wrong? Ok if waves were mountainous, then common ...

Perhaps I have not travelled too much, but I do not know of another town that has such an open wildlife conservation area right in its heart. To that extent, I believe Dawlish is unique in a very enchanting way. Unfortunately, there are people who are not knowledgeable, or just plain ignorant as to how to nurture this. Therefore, I feel that a certain amount of signage is really necessary. As to ...

I was down there this afternoon, and it is still there but someone (presumably a public spirited individual) has overpainted the 'F' words with blue paint.
