Just the accommodation for 2 weeks for a 2+2 family at a Dawlish Warren caravan park starts at about £1000, then there is the travel, food and entertainment costs. Adding a tax on the visitors doesn't seem right.

Yeah too much money is spent on London, I realise it does benefit us all to have a great capital city, but it's time to spread the development money about a bit. I can understand that HS2 is a very nice thing to have and I'd like to ride on it, also during construction many thousands of people would be employed. However it seems such a unnecessary project, there must be better projects we could ...

@Lynne , yep sounds fair to me. If some enemy personnel are killed during strikes on the CW sites then who cares. Good riddance.

I guess that is a possibility. We could assume that the chemical weapons have a fairly limited range and that no 'good' people will be anyway near a military site. President Obama doesn't seem to be gung-hu, I hope he'll only authorise a missile strike where the odds of a positive outcome are good.

I don't agree with her views on Syria. Missile strikes against the military sites suspected of chemical weapons use would be an ideal response.
