Ah the good old Daily Smell - that totally devoted to the tories hate the lib dems newspaper.

Good for Vince the Cable. I admire any politician who refuses to toe their party line, whatever their party. Sarah Woolaston comes to mind. I'm no tory but I do admire her.

Lynne,

I have read the same story in the Telegraph and the Guardian, and doubt some people have read the same story in the Sun or the Daily Mirror. Wherever one gets information does it REALLY matter to the masses where it comes from. The same could be said if it comes from ITV or the BBC. Everybody has the choice of what to read and what to watch for that matter. As far as I'm concerned polititions are pretty much the same in the long run.

He often publicly slags off a government idea or policy, without suggesting any ideas himself. He is no use to anyone.

I decided that the Lib Dems had lost any trust I might have had in them when they stopped the reduction in the number of MPs going through.  So something that would have made each vote fairer at an election and would have reduced the amount of money we spend on MP salaries etc etc got rejected just because they were having a tantrum on not getting their own way on something else.  Stupid, stupid, stupid and totally selfish and not in the best interests of the country.

@DJ, I totally agree, 650 MPs is stupidly high.

For example, Plymouth has 3 MPs, each of them doing nothing, so why not just have one MP doing for Plymouth instead?
