Apparentley the parking outside the Launderette is going to be the new Taxi rank. It seems Mr Force is getting the stick because the chamber of trade obviousely knew about this and kept it between themselves and the council. As mentioned it seems quite logical that if shopping ever returns to the town and most people are being forced to park on Barton Hill then the Taxi rank should be there to. ...
@Carer Funny you should mention that garage. Have just driven past and guess what? Their price has gone up 1p and the bank holiday is approaching. What you betting it goes up another 1p on Friday
Dont see whats wrong with people trying to make a living. Simple rule of life applies. Dont wanna pay, dont go. There's plenty other free boot sales. Newton race course, Exeter cattle market The Warren boot sale is aimed at the holiday makers, thats why its in the afternoon. Now dont tell me that businesses in Dawlish dont price to take advantage of the holiday trade.

Lets hope they bulldoze it and stop wasting our money. The Police should have the final word in addition to the surrounding business owners.
Would it be fair to say that people who live in any form of social or rented accomodation need to accept the fact that the property is never going to be their own unless they buy it. Therefore would it not be right for the people paying all or part of the rent to have a say on how suitable the property is for an individuals needs. Clearly one person living in a 3 bedroom property not owned by ...
Applications for benifits have to be made online via computer due to them probably being administered in South Africa, India, Pakistan, Poland or anywhere else on the planet where people work for nothing. Another government Joke. Interesting choice of area up north to carry out the trials, at least they wont have to be selective on which households apply or not. Will also be a good test of how ...
@wondering - be carefull, because the reason i mentioned it was that each authority has a different price scale. so if you get a taxi licenced by exeter city or torbay the price "could" be different - thanks
@Alexcrossland - beg to differ speed humps are not legal and several authorities have been successfully sued for installing them thus causing damage to vehicals. the raised areas crossing the strand are not legitimate crossings as they are not being constructed as such therefore they are a wilfully placed obstructions. the point being made here is not about the speed vehicles travel down the ...
