Oh yeah good point. Besides the fair, chairwomen's address, disorganisation, banning of the Brunny, quiet PA system, premature raft race, false health and safety issues, Mayor not invited, ..., it was great!

Whinging Pom - a person of British origin who will consistently complain about any situation that they may face. They are emotionally unable to deal with any sort of adverse condition without commenting negatively about it. What an appropriate definition. Anyway many people enjoyed Carnival week. So what's all the moaning for?

Pram race route - http://www.dawlishcarnivalentertainment.co.uk/pram%20race/pram%20race%20route.jpg Re-routed for health and safety reasons. Total BS, it's purely to screw over the Brunswick Arms as everyone knows.

OK, fair enough. That money incident was years ago, so never mind. Raft race today which is always fun.

@Brazilnut , you really live in dreamland. I was robbed and I will call them whatever I like. Anyway carnival week has started, I'm sure it will be great. So let's all make the most of it.

Fairs are scum. I remember going on a ride, my money came out of me pockets and was at the back of the seat. I went back to get it and the bloke wouldn't give it back. Why are these TOTAL SCUM allowed in our town?

Why are there so many fairground rides? They seem to be occupying more space than ever before. Is this a carnival or just a fairground?

Carnival Programmes

@wondering , perhaps the £2 for each programme goes towards the cost of running the carnival.

What's wrong with paying £2 for a carnival programme? There is a free fair ride voucher inside!
