WITH the new season well underway, Marina Bowling Club Dawlish have had a busy few weeks with the weather following suit. First up was Presidents Day on May 4, everyone enjoying a friendly game of bowls with afternoon tea which included a cream tea before then entertaining a tourist team from Wales.
Interesting to see more places in Dawlish being converted into flats — definitely shows the growing demand for housing in the area. If anyone’s looking to explore or learn more about Dawlish and similar spots, I’ve found Riddlespalace pretty useful for local info and insights. Worth a look!
Just wondered if anyone might be interested in a very good, working condition B&O 9300 and a pair of B&O Beocentre S80 speakers. A table tennis club has been forced to relocate to Teignmouth after being priced out of its former Dawlish home. Dawlish Table Tennis Club will relaunch as Teignmouth Table Tennis Club on Monday June 9 in its new base at Alive Fitness on the Teignmouth Community School (TCS) site.
A GROUP of French visitors enjoyed a successful trip to their twin town in Dawlish. It was the latest in a long-standing ‘entente cordiale’ between Dawlish and its twin town of Carhaix-Plouger in Brittany.
