WITH the new season well underway, Marina Bowling Club Dawlish have had a busy few weeks with the weather following suit. First up was Presidents Day on May 4, everyone enjoying a friendly game of bowls with afternoon tea which included a cream tea before then entertaining a tourist team from Wales.
Interesting to see more places in Dawlish being converted into flats — definitely shows the growing demand for housing in the area. If anyone’s looking to explore or learn more about Dawlish and similar spots, I’ve found Riddlespalace pretty useful for local info and insights. Worth a look!
Just wondered if anyone might be interested in a very good, working condition B&O 9300 and a pair of B&O Beocentre S80 speakers. System was purchased new for £1,650 in 1997 by my Father in law who has had to go in a care home at 97 and now relegated to a single room for his possesions. I have run tapes and cd's through it for several hours and works perfectly. The exterior of the music centre ...

Wrigley and his cabal ignores the needs and concerns of traders in Queen St Newton Abbot, market traders over changes to the indoor market, then there's the theatre campaign and local people concerned about the housing sprawl and loss of countryside containing ...
Wrigley blocked me from his Facebook page after I pointed out he was talking nonsense about a particular matter. So much for him being thick skinned, I think he's just thick.

Another BS filled post on our MP's Facebook page today. He 'came into politics with a desire to help people' ? And 'make their lives better '? WTF? Not according to his elderly neighbour, he has no desire to make her life better. In fact she says he's the worst neighbour she's ever had. He's full of it. It's sickening, shameless self-promotion by a deluded arrogant fool who ...
A table tennis club has been forced to relocate to Teignmouth after being priced out of its former Dawlish home. Dawlish Table Tennis Club will relaunch as Teignmouth Table Tennis Club on Monday June 9 in its new base at Alive Fitness on the Teignmouth Community School (TCS) site.
A GROUP of French visitors enjoyed a successful trip to their twin town in Dawlish. It was the latest in a long-standing ‘entente cordiale’ between Dawlish and its twin town of Carhaix-Plouger in Brittany.
ROYAL National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) lifeguards will be back on our local beaches this May half term. Red and yellow flags will be flying on Teignmouth and Dawlish beaches from Friday, May 24 to Saturday, June 1, daily, from 10am to 6pm.
