Something was released just before Xmas. It stated that Global Warming stopped in 1976 (wish I'd noted what it was - sorry)! Even if this is the case (and I don't believe that any of us has the information to make an informed decision) it still make sense to recycle - even though someone is making a lot of money from our free labour - for the sake of OUR environment. Doesn't it?
Most people are honest. However, I found a £20 note outside the Carlton Theatre in Teignmouth and handed it in just before Teignmouth Police Station closed. I was told to pick it up at N. Abbot Police Station as it hadn't been claimed and there was now no Pol Stn in Teignmouth (none of which - i.e. that the time had expired or that T'mouth police station had closed I had been info'd about). ...
What utter tripe! Christmas is about sharing time with family and friends (with a bit of the God stuff thrown in if that's your thing). You don't need fairy lights to do that!
Sidney Court was built for older people to live in. That has changed! There are now all sorts in there. I can't vouch for it now but a couple of years ago I wouldn't have wanted to live there. Sorry Cat...but I had to be honest with you.
Cllr Greg Fenne and his wife were out there last night. I can't vouch for any others.
I think the parapet has gone but the bridge is still there.
I don't use duvets....I use a Labrador!!!! My wife gets the duvet; I get the dog!
Totally agree with you Lynne. I also don't think that the Housing element of the Strategy looks like a 20 year plan for either Dawlish or T'mouth. I'll give it 5-7 years to completion of all sites and then we'll see additional 'fill ins' and other land having applications placed on them. This national move towards 'Home Choice' schemes does not work! Why would you live in an inner ...
Teignbridge Core Strategy Development Plan is now available for viewing. As predicted, Teignmouth housing increase is based around the new link road into Morrisons (Higher Exeter Road - Shepherds Lane - Broadmeadow), The Dawlish element makes interesting reading seeing as works appear to have started in St James' Plantation/Elm Grove area. It can be interpreted in a number of ways - make of it ...
I've just come from a meeting at Dawlish Branch, The Royal Bitish Legion, and we are all quite stunned. Despite asking for nothing, we have received donations for Bill's (and all those who participated in the Liberation of Europe) memorial statue to the sum of £525! This is incredible and makes us very proud to live among the people of Dawlish. We have promised to continue fund ...
