@burnside Because life in this country only existed post-1973. Those were the best yeas of my life, the like I will never see again. Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Eden Kane, Oh musn't forget The Beatles and I could go on. Still nice to listen to today. On a Sunday evening, radio devon play all the oldies.
I saw them closer to Dawlish than that. Swimming close by the viaduct jetty one morning last week, but there were only three.
Just wait until lidl or aldi start a home delivery service. But they may not entertain it just like the fuel they do not sell.
I thought they had already had a consultation!!!!!!!! SO for what reason are they now trying to get another one. Is there a similar situation regarding BREXIT where they had a ref, it didn't go the way that some would have liked and are still trying to get another ref. When there is an election, most accept the result, what is so different to the two situations mentioned above? Why can't ...
This was America and we nearly always follow suit. The year was 1917 The year is 1917 "One hundred years ago." What a difference a century makes. Here are some statistics for the Year 1917: The average life expectancy for men was 47 years. Fuel for cars was sold in drug stores only. Only 14 percent of the homes had a bathtub. Only 8 percent of the homes ...
All this talk about what might or might not happen, does not appear to be squaring the circle as far as Heathrow expansion is concerned. They are going ahead and hope that a new runway/terminal will be up and running by 2026, to cope with the new expected world trade. We must be doing something right by owning the busiest airport in the world and set to get busier. So is all this brexit talk by ...
So the housing market is in turmoil in more ways than one. The down valuation has now kicked in which can only mean that sellers cannot sell and buyers cannot buy. The sellers are the ones that will lose out in the long run. Even if they drop their price to start with, there will be an element of down valuation that will lower the price even further. So it wouldbe better for the buyer to get ...
@Laurahollycasey , this town like many others are full of people who do not get the facts right. if they don't know something, they will make it up. The body they found in the toilets is rife with who it is. I have heard at least half a dozen different descriptions. So don't worry too much about what other people are saying about you. Just let them believe what they want to believe.
It's nothing new and it will continue as long as the wrong people are voted onto the council. Councillors should be in control but those that are employed by the council always have the upper - hand. Remember Bulbeck is a lawyer and they know how to manipulate. It is not a case of the blind leading the blind, it is those with eyes wide open that lead the blind.
I expect the undertakers arrived after I left the scene. That would explain why the other emergency services left the scene, they wouldn't have a body bag. But as Devon live has reported, there will be an update.
