I have heard figures of in the region upto £17,000 already being spent on this project, would any councillor be honest enough to say what has been spent and how much more would need to be for this project to go through to build stage.

@Mcjrpc i take it from your post that you seem to be believing that i have 2 accounts on here which is total rubish. i only have this 1 account and see no reason to want or need another, as you have brought this up makes me wonder how many accounts under diffrent names you must be using? to your point on the other post/threads i have written, yes is about the cafe at coryton cove cause those who ...
So now it seems that according to a report rock pool cafe was not burnt down by arsonist as everyone stated including the holmans in the local paper, but through an newly installed appliance or something with a heatng element left turned on. It seemed at the time others were quick to blame local youngsters or indeed someone even asking who would benefit from this. Maybe now these same people ...
@Lynne ...no not the pirates chest but rock pool cafe at coryton cove
Apart from the vital route for the southwest into the capital the seafront rail line is surely one of the tourism highlights for Dawlish, not only the intercity trains but local carriages and not forgetting the steam trains that attract hundreds of visitors. Without this line I can see Dawlish falling off the tourist map which will have devastating effects for the whole community.

Funny how the concerns are now being raised again when at rockpool cafe they where granted a licence to sell alcohol for the beach , this will only give the alkies another place to move onto and cause more upset for locals and holidaymakers there. But then this reason maybe why teighnbridge council portfolio manager has not gave them permision to sell drink yet !
The pirates chest is still up and running with Bob, Barbra & Eugene at the helm.. Just location changed to Dawlish beach right side of the viaduct
With the disgraceful decision of TDC not to allow Bob & Barbra continue to run the beach cafe at coryton cove the new tenants have applied for a license to sell alcohol and for live entertainment !!! We beleive this will lead to a rise in anti social behaviour on the beach and the surrounding area. Coryton cove has always been a safe family beach and does not need or want this. Could you all ...
