I too agree that the stock in the shop went from being decent to fuddy duddy.This i guess was its downfall. i like to support as many shops in the Town as i can but unfortunately it came to the stage where it wasnt worth visiting. Good luck in the future to all the friendly staff.

That because so many dont give a fig about the Town full stop. There to busy running it down. I like to say well done to Dawlish Town for putting the towns name on a national map. Its good to see they brought so much extra money into the Town , at a time of year when it is usually dead.

Great to see the Gazette getting behind the team. Perhaps its finally dawning on them , how much a successful team, can help the town financially. 150 people in the Town at a time of year that is usually fairly dead is a major boost . It is also putting the name of the Town on the Map nationally. Hopefully some of those from Derbyshire will re-visit in the future.
Cant blame the pensioners, with free bus travel and loads of time on there hands(ha Ha) then i can understand them. £30-40 pounds difference, it must be a big family. No seriously that is a big difference for just food or are you including other items. When you consider that most thing cost a few pence more locally and alot of Veg is actually cheaper locally.
Investigator , i find myself agreeing with you. If it costs between £5-10 in petrol /wear and tear on car for each trip, then the difference in prices probably makes Dawlish cheaper to shop at.
Councillors can say what they want, to anyone who will listen. If corruption is invloved then you call the police. You are also free to put a leaflet through every door telling the population what the council is up to.As long as you are telling the truth you have nothing to fear. So stand as a councillor then .In May you will be able to change the way this town is run. After winning your seat you will be able to expose the council for what they really are. You can be the peoples champion , stopping those fat wallets from being filled and sending those bad councillors to the gutter. YOUVE GOT MY VOTE (as long as you dont go under the banner of lib/lab/con)
