it has been suggested and alleged through good sources that The Farmers Market area on the lawn(that cost countless thousands)..was not such a community spirited gesture as we may have been lead to believe. The main purpose of clearing the area besides the'happy hut' and widenening the path was infact to allow access for ambulances to gain swift access for the Herion afflicted junkies who frequent and loiter in this area. The 'Farmers Market area' has been used as a guise by dawlish town council...the people who rent the space for the market were happy to use the Bandstand area..it had Electric!! now each stall has to provide generators for their power and are more disconnected from the strand and brunswick. So very basically we have been duped.. Thoughts Please?

Thoughts? Mine is that you need to take more water with your whisky. If I thought for one moment you were being serious, I'd be worried for your mental state - however you ARE on the wind up aren't you????

I agree, we went to Newton Abbot last Tuesday and they had a Farmers Market that day and it was buzzing. Lots of farm produce and plenty of buyers. Dawlish will never succeed in anything of this nature as the only people who can afford the prices at these markets are wealthy retired people and unfortunately most of the elderly people living in Dawlish are struggling to survive on their measly state pension.
