DCC believe that the contractors are on site and they have told me that the mess will be cleared up by the end of next week. Perhaps they are all still in that loo at the top or maybe they are Irish and the Teignmouth Inn is to much of a temptation.

I have been informed as stated elsewhere on these blogs that it is an insurance job and is not the responsibility of DCC or TDC and that a contractor has been appointed by the insurance company. The work should take about 10 working days to get things back to normal from when ever the contractor starts. @HuwMatthews 2 Definately in agreement with that last statement.

I started work at 13 doing a paper round and from that age I had to hand to my mother half of what I earned for my upkeep and I had to pay every week until I got married and left home.  I did exactly the same with my children, it taught them the responsibilty about money and they learnt the same as I did that nothing is for free in this world.

Why do we not all write in support of the application, I am going to.

And on an eviromental reason why cut down forests to print books that just sit on a shelf.

@michaelclayson thank you for the reply, i just hope that tdc do hurry and show their proposal for the lawn area soon. but i note that you include the brook in your allocation of the £100,000 so i hope that it is not all going to be spent on dredging the brook.

@Onport1968 racist fredbasset may be but his statements on the uk being to soft on imigration are correct. we have let too many people come into the uk and that is now giving us all the problems we have on, housing, transport, & health service.

Does this mean that monies set aside by TDC and DTC for the rest of the improvements to the lawn area are being used to carry out the computer model of the brook and the dredging.
