COUNCILLOR Lin Goodman-Bradbury is the new Mayor of Dawlish. Town councillors unanimously agreed she would serve as Mayor for the coming year with Cllr Anthony James as her deputy. Her charities for the year are Dawlish Against Plastic, The Strand Community Centre and Talking Newspapers Dawlish and Teignmouth.
RETIRING Dawlish town crier Steve Cunliffe, who served for four decades, has been honoured by becoming the parish’s first Honorary Freeman. The town council granted the title to Mr Cunliffe, who is 94 years old, after 45 years service and outstanding contribution to the parish.
