I see that according to today's Echo, a 60-bed nursing home is likely to be built on the site of the old Peppermint Park clubhouse on Warren Road. To be honest, I hadn't realised that the clubhouse there was no longer in use. Importantly, this could create 20 to 30 jobs for the area.
