Police wont do anything, they are to busy drinking tea in the £85,000 office that is never open.

We've had friends stay at Cofton, and the one complaint about the place was the swimming pool and surrounding area for sunbathing wasnt big enough for the number of people stopping. If you went in school holidays you couldnt get in the pool , as it was rammed and if you did the chances of swimming were near impossible. In this day and age and our weather you need to offer something else .
But there only catching up with everyone else that had already reduced. I found 126.9 yesterday ,so filled up. Leatash your charging 6p more a litre . Marine is only a penny dearer , so unless you are shopping at sainsburys, by the time you have driven from dawlish it works out dearer taking into account the petrol you use.
i find gays are good if you have them warm and eat them straight away otherwise, wee shoppe bakery
Great news, hopefully the people of Dawlish will support them instead of drifting off to clubs all over the place, as happened with dawlish town.
Passed the terrace this morning and was good to see it flying its 5 star rating , seems that alot have decided not to show them. Perhaps they should have been forced to, as they do in other areas of the country. I suggest we only use those that are prepared to display ratings.
I wonder if user4549 will just use another name. Not sure whats going on here webmaster but i too havent posted for a while , the reason being you seem to always side with certain people on here. I get the feeling you post regularly under another name and then dish out warnings , when you dont agree with certain things. Maybe its time for a forum that is truly independant , without agendas.
No not really , why was it vindictive as the information was availible in the papers. Not exactly impartial.
Well done Nelson . If you travel around the country you will see lists like these in all the papers . Nothing at all Nasty about what you are doing. They are all guilty so whats the problem Dawlish Blue, its time this sort of scum were named and shamed , they have been bringing our town down for too long. I suppose you would rather talk to them and listen to how they had such a bad upbringing and ...
Its just a shame its not a bit more vibrant with a pub with live music , and i dont mean folk. But yes a great place to have a relaxing pint or 2
Great idea Dawlish Blue, lets cause another Post Office to close down.
If you want wine there is a great vinyard at kenton.
What a suprise Jools shows himself to be the same old moron, as he has so many times before ,under so many names. Its a shame only me and Brazilnut seem to be able to spot this .
If you look at the pile of crap that is left from the last auction at The Arms , you'll realise its just a dumping ground instead of going to the tip.
Didnt realse United were on the main pitch, ill have to take a look.
have to agree with you both. whilst others were closed over the festive and new year period they were heaving due to the number of tourists and families visiting relatives . I guess they took more money over the week than most places would take in a month in january and feb
Once a month or even four a year would be a great start. The town was very busy, which considering the lack of publicity was brilliant. Not only were the stalls doing a brisk trade , but all the shops were busy and the cafes rammed. A great day for dawlish , lets hope there are many more to come.
the abuse of blue badge holders is enormous . i regularly see people getting out of cars when they are on thier own, stick the badge in the window and run into a shop. They seem to think they can abandon the car anywhere and dont give a toss about anyone else.
The difference between Alphington and Dawlish is 4p a litre , yet they are bought for the same price , so everytime you fill up at Sainsburys Dawlish they are sticking two fingers up to you and ripping you off. Marine Garage is 1p dearer. If you are driving from Dawlish and put the average fill in which is around 30 litres, it cost 30pence more to use Marine than sainsbury's but it will cost you ...
yawn yawn yawn , there should be a rule.....stop boring us to death.
Thats the best ive heard for a long while. Can you imagine 67 year old Policeman running up stairs in blocks of flats. Ambulance men doing the same(they'd need one). Teachers, looking after 35 teenagers or 6 year olds. As for soldiers , it will be like Dads Army all over again. Im one who's union sold out last year. My pension immediately dropped from just under£6,000 to Not much above £2500per ...
The play area at teignmouth is always very busy, and is a major draw. The same could apply to Dawlish, if it was on the lawn, except we have an advantage. Ours would be near the shops and cafes, so they would gain as well.
As Brazilnut says, nail on head, 1st time, not difficult is it , hello Flower, Jools Dallas Dullish or whatever you choose to call yourself today. Webmaster the pattern on here was so clear yet you did nothing about it, i hate to say it but this place is becoming a joke. It seems yet again you have let this moron attack a new poster on another thread. Why dont you get in touch with his web provider, ...
Im on TPS and only get 2 or 3 calls a year. I keep them talking for as long as i can, get as much detail as possible and then tell them , im on TPS. They very quickly apologise and end the call.
If its anything to do with the scum that owned/ran it before you'll leave your goods between tuesday and thursday and they'll disappear friday Has the court case for the scum happened already, i must have missed it in the papers.
Seems simple enough to me and im in my fifties. I agree with the others , its good to see a company looking after its customers.
Have to agree with you Libby, i tried it for the 1st time the other week and was very impressed. Not sure id go in at night as it seemed to be a folk type place but definately worth a visit at lunchtime.
Until we stop the massive immigration that is going on we will have to build more houses .you cant expect your population to grow by 500,000 a year and not have to build houses.
DTC is not a happy place for him, because like the rest of the Tories and Liberals. They find themselves unable to feather thier caps and take the people of dawlish for granted. Remember a new broom is in town , and all the while dirt is being found that he and his other cronies were responsible for. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Tory, liberal, labour all the same , dont give a toss about us, as ...
Cosey and Dallas , seem like the same person to me , are you allowed multi accounts.
Got no problem with rainbow , as DP says once you get used to it , its fairly easy to understand. As for bullying, how is that possible on a computer, when people dont tend to know who you are.
Dallas, i think what he is trying to say is that you are always shouting due to being on caps lock. You dont help yourself Dallas by either always swearing or insulting people. You could ignore his/her posts, but choose to insult him/her instead.
Ive also heard its for pruning and planting.
Trains , not my cup of tea, but they are for many visitors to dawlish and long may that continue. Seals , if you sit at Pirates Chest you will regularly see them. An adult and pup come very close while feeding. Dolphins, seen every year, especially early in the morning. One afternoon this summer a dolpin was following one of the little boats along , watched by everyone at Pirates chest and ...
Agree with you Dallas, places like this that seem to be going the extra mile, definately deserve supporting. Put places like Baileys to shame.
I think its a great move. As Brazilnut says , a massive boost to the town early in the holiday season . Will also mean that more effort can be concentrated for carnival week.
I used to use it for about 3 0r 4 years before it closed down. Great place to eat winter or summer. I think its been converted into flats , although most of the building looks like a rubbish tip. such a waste.
Must admit all these housing threads have sent me into hibernation.
Brilliant news and a massive boost to the local economy. Just when the tourists industry is usually slowing down for the winter , the weather has been a massive tonic. If only it would continue for longer.
The anger on this occasion should not be directed at the Post Office , they have no say. It is TESCO/One stops fault. They have chosen to reduce the number of workers. This is the reason that Royal Mail is such a mess. Our Governments have robbed Royal Mail, of its profits for the last 20 years, and now through lack of investment wonder why it is making a loss. Its not rocket science. As for the ...
