On the Wednesday 26th Novemebr at around 20.00 a member of public found a load of fishing wire wrapped around the life guard hut in Dawlish Warren Beach . The owner of a dog and another member of the public got caught up in it. I would like to warn walkers, especially during the dark hours, to take care when walking in the area. PCSO Deborah Sleeman

A mother and her young child have been rescued from a house fire in Dawlish. Devon and Somerset fire and rescue service were called to the blaze at 10am following a call from the distressed mother.
