Seaside supremo and founder of Dawlish-based Promenade Promotions Tony Lidington has announced the social enterprise organisation has secured Arts Council England funding to support newcomers to the business.
A group of Dawlish shopkeepers has launched a campaign to promote the town’s unique, independent businesses and showcase the resort to residents and visitors. ‘Independent Dawlish’ was the brainchild of Julie Lister, who runs women’s clothing boutique Chic and Sassy.

I think Reform UK could do as well as they did in 2015 or better, because the Tories being seen as not delivering in the aftermath of Brexit by many who would've voted Tory in 2017 and 2019 when Reform UK, formerly UKIP stood aside where the Tories were likely to win, the return of Farage who is a Boris Johnson type character and the policy of austerity are all factors that could have an impact. ...
