Our latest exchange with visitors from Carhaix was a huge success. An action-packed three-day visit included a civic reception at the Manor House, a meal at Mount Pleasant Inn, and a day-trip to Coleton Fishacre and Dartmouth. We were sad to see them go and can't wait to meet up again in Carhaix next year.

A DAWLISH man will stand trial on charges of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour that was racially aggravated. Ian James Mitchell, aged 40, of Linden Road, denies the charge. He also denies a charge of possessing cocaine and another charge of assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty in Dawlish.
