According to the news last night the only plan is to move the line out tio sea by 30 metres at the Teignmouth end with no improvements as yet for the Dawlish section.

Many years ago, more than I'd like to think it was, my science teacher once said........ If the earth was an experiment in a science lab it would of been seen as a failure the minute humans where added to the equation ! it took many years for me to fully understand this but how correct he was all those years ago.

Does anyone use phoneboxes anymore? I always thought they were just incubators for germs. Where I used to live in the 1960's people used to vandalise them and/or urinate in them.

I doubt it - but the redundant part of the line might help bring the cycle link between Dawlish and Teignmouth one step closer...
