Maybe the boxes could be saved and used as artwork/decoration around the town to add to the character of the place. They could be locked shut and used as notice board with adverts in the windows, so many things, but it would be a shame to lose them. You're right Leatash - but although the Woodland Avenue area has a TQ postcode, it is (until the controversial Boundary Commission changes take effect) within the parish of Dawlish. One way or the other, these houses would appear to be among those affected if the second option is chosen. Let's hope the £500 million can be found to fund the first option instead.
