@Paul - new zealand is a nice place because those that govern the country appreciate the limited resources and as such have excellent border/immigration policies and the staff and equipment to back it up. shame the u.k governement will only spend tax payers money on themselves rather than essential services that matter to the tens of millions who have had to put their hand in their pocket to pay ...

The Guardian has been wrong about all of this. The general election, Brexit and US election. Definitely the worst paper I know of. Always comes up with stupid excuses rather than admitting they got it wrong. They even came out with the classic 'the US people voted wrong, on the wrong issues, they were misled'. Which is very disrespectful. Please do read something other than that ...
