Well isent this what the cycle path investment is all about . Preventing motorised transport travelling arond and through the town centre. You can bet your life the incompetent, over paid, brainless planners responsible havent a clue how big a coach, lorry or bus actualy is. Perhaps Stagecoach should consider turning buses around at John Nash Drive and Sandy Lane thus avoiding Dawlish centre ...

Another stupid waste of public money cycle path. When is the madness going to stop. Funny thing is there will be nothing left of the town centre for the massive influx of visitors promised by this huge wasted investment. At 10am this morning there were 3 coaches in the bays and a double decker bus had a struggle to get past, a large lorry would have been unable to pass.
Anyway back on topic, I don't have an issue with once a month bin collections personally. I don't have enough to fill it fortnightly as it is!
If this country was wallowing in money the Tories would still be cutting back on publicly funded services (eg schools, NHS, social services, police etc etc etc). And the reason they would be doing that is because the Tories do not like the publicly funded sector. They eat, breath and drink private enterprise. Their priority is the private sector and the profit to be made from it.
No memory lapse here... the tories deregulated the banks and now they are lining the pockets of their rich mates and themselves hence the ever increasing divide between the rich elite and the rest of us. eta... Tories have a history of cutting taxes for the rich, cutting services they don't need but can make lots of money out of... eg NHS privitisation, rail privitisation, cutting funds for ...
Its strange how folk forget it was the bankers who were the ones who caused all of these problems and they got away with it.
