We of Dawlish Choral Society have moved our weekly rehearsals from the Hedley Way Centre to the Manor, starting last night. Some of us will never see 70 again (and a few never 80). On our first visit, pleasantly surprised to find plenty of room in the Manor House car park. Has something changed down there ?
One fire appliance from Dawlish and two from Teignmouth attended a two vehicle road traffic collision where one female casualty was trapped. Crews arrived on scene and got to work with hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty. Police and Ambulance also attended. I could add the same comment as above! She fails to mention the thousands of women who will NOT get a state pension because of the changes to NI contributions. But, as all MPs get a gold plated pension for just being an MP, even for a short time, they are not bothered as it does not and never will affect them. The state pension will be a tiny bit of pin money on top of their gold plated MP ...
