@Eugmauran - where did you get the info that there was a padlock that was cut off with a grinder?

@Brooklyn Bridge - yes thanks i do know where my 'kid' is thank you very much, didn't realise you wanted a reply from all parents signed up here.  and if it turns out not to be kids but nasty vengeful adults will all those who can't wait to blame the youth of the town apologise?  i like to go by evidence not make nasty slurs on people.

I've just come across this Chancel Repair Liability issue. Seems that in some circumstances the CoE can make a claim on you, yes YOU!, to help them with the cost of church repairs. Have a read of this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chancel_repair_liability especially the bit concerning the Wallbank case. Look how much they got stung for!

@ZIGGY i know, this lasted less than 24 hours.  it's a really nasty one if a motorbike hits it.  it's still reported on the pothole site, dcc really needs to pull it's collective finger out.  i do hope the contractor doesn't charge twice for this shoddy work.

'additional street sweeping'  additional to what? none! Just put all your rubbish in the black bin, fortnightly, problem solved..simple.
