Just to remind everyone that we have all benifited from the great British Empire looting the world and making us what we are today and whether or not you agree or disagree it's the way things are and have always been.
Why should the surgery contact patients to remind them they have an appointment it brings to mind teachers phoning pupils who are perpetially late or worse knocking on their door to get them up. We have become a country of individuals who dont take responsibility for there actions me i am always 15 mins early for any appointment. Vodafone is most probably the worst network to be on down here. There customer service is non existant unless you are looking to buy a new phone or service and coverage poor.

@Lisa - you are perfectly entitled to your opinion and i hardly think your posts have been ranting. don't feel discouraged, i imagine there are lots of people who agree with you but just don't like to post.
I was going to click on the agree button but then I thought I'd write a comment instead and say "thank you". Wow! I can well understand people staying in the shadows. It doesn't bother me "so much". I don't lie awake at night thinking about it. I just find the personal profit from a looted relic and what it represents distasteful. I'm not seeking agreement from anyone. It's just my own personal feeling. If others feel differently then I've no problem with it.
