Someone contacted me earlier today expressing concern that Sandy Lane Playing fields would now be under threat of development given that Dawlish is to have a new country park. For info this is what I replied and what I understand the situation to be. Hello grockle. In case you havent heard, the old carnival committee have gone and a new (and better) carnival committee have taken over since last year. Still in it's infancy, they are getting things ready for this year but be patient, as I am sure that something will be available on the interwebnetthingy soon. When I find out more, I will let you know. (if I can remember)
The only place i have ever lost signal and have used my phone from Lands End to The Orkneys is DCC and Elm Grove Road and i use Talk Talk.
@ken - vodafone sure signal, from your description, does sound like a bit of kit you should really not need and certainly not pay for. 1) If I don't have a mobile signal I just connect my phone by wifi to my broadband router. 2) Three network has a free app you can down load and make calls over the internet.
