Saw this on the web site www.rightsandwrongs - posted on 27th Nov 2013. Did it make the slightest difference? Friend- In the next month David Cameron has a decision to make. Will he support pay rises for his peers as he has recently done for banker’s bonuses, or will he prove we’re ‘all in this together’ and refuse a pay rise to show they are willing to sacrifice like many have ...

Islam at its best

@Mrs C - you are correct in saying that sharia law isn't legal in brtiain, but for a large number of muslims this is the only law that they recognise in the u.k. it is inevitable that when you have millions of muslims in the u.k. . that they will expand their religous base, just as the british colonials did during the british empire with christian faith . anyone who doesn't know what the british ...

Where's smella
3 Dec 2013

I see that Smella has actually commented within my Knitting discussion thread. Is Smella a real person or a fishing person, I know not - confused of Dawlish.

As you say you are new to the area. If the people on dawlish.com wish to discuss something and it is not breaking the law so be it. Sadly the right to freedom of  speech has been eroded greatly over the decades and as such people are less able to express their feelings as openly as they would like to. This does not make these people miserable, resentful people who have nothing better to do. I ...

Migrant Benefits
27 Nov 2013

Don't pay in, don't get out. To many generations of freeloaders who have never worked sucking this country dry. The last thing we need in this country are people coming over and claiming from a benefit system they have Never contributed to.

The British Governemnt hasn't been an effective governing tool since the end of the Empire. The problrm we have is that it is the Governemnt who decides what is best for our nation whilst taking more and more money from smaller and smaller pay packets. The only time the Government will panic is when few people work and little tax comes in. Then many of those in Government will merely tootle of to ...
