I have watched with amusement the arguements for and against having a supermarket in Dawlish. If we are luckily enough to get one it wont kill the town the majority of shops are for the tourists. There has been a playground in the Manor for years, why change it. If one goes between the bowling green and bandstand it will disturb the men and women playing bowls, why should people have their recreation spoilt by noisy disruptive children. If they rebuild one at the Manor at least the little so and so will be able to shout and scream as much as they like and the bowling club left in peace
I remember when dawlish was a nice place whats happened to it
the arnival is only put on for the visitors what goes on in the winter when its only us locals nothing
I love the carnival it means just one more week and most of the grockles go back where they belong
I have lived in dawlish all my life whats wrong with it nothing other than it is now full of outsiders
