"I feel like the only gay in the village"
I moved to Dawlish about 6 months ago and have to go into Exeter to find any night life for us gays.
Is the subject taboo around here
Maybe one of the pubs could have a "gay" night
Really appreciate it if there is some potitive feedback
I have a lot of friends in Brighton who want to move because of the violence.
The chavs go to Brighton on the pretence of going to a stag party when they are really going out beating up innocent people just because of their sexual orientation
They are all tempted to move to Dawlish because it is safe and a good retirement area

I don't really have anything against people just because they are different to me. I haven't been here long myself but I would welcome you, the town needs a splash of colour! I don't care what other people think, its a free world and I can live wherever I choose to! Why don't you and all your friends start your own "place" here.

It is rumored that the in place is the Mount Pleasant Inn, Dawlish Warren. Give it a try, the staff are most obliging

yes i have been there often - they will bend over backwards to help you there - very friendly

I remember when dawlish was a nice place whats happened to it

I went to the Mount Pleasant had good night cant say it was any different for gays than the rest of Dawlish
I am going to suggest a "Gay" night in the Ferrit & Radiator also couple of other pubs got any suggestions guess it will have to be one with flagging business.

Did you notice the German porn star with his extremely butch moustache working at the Mount?
So now you are going to warm it up on the radiator and then ferret it around.
