With all that rain on Sunday and with the clutch so near to low water, I am wondering whether or not they are still there. Perhaps someone can confirm.

The public consultation was a sham and unsupported/unrealistic statistics promoted to allow momentum on this waste of money project. And they should have been able to express their unhappiness about the proposal via an explicit question on the consultation questionnaire. They weren't.

There is no furore. All it is is that there are few people who are unhappy about this, and it's the same old people who are always unhappy about everything that's ever proposed to improve Dawlish.

You are missing the point which is.......... that there was no explicit place on the consultation questionnaire for those who did not wish to have the play park built at all to be able to register that view. And even if it turned out to be only one person who felt that way - the question still needed to have been asked. It wasn't. And this is what the furore is all about. And ...
