A table tennis club has been forced to relocate to Teignmouth after being priced out of its former Dawlish home. Dawlish Table Tennis Club will relaunch as Teignmouth Table Tennis Club on Monday June 9 in its new base at Alive Fitness on the Teignmouth Community School (TCS) site.

A GROUP of French visitors enjoyed a successful trip to their twin town in Dawlish. It was the latest in a long-standing ‘entente cordiale’ between Dawlish and its twin town of Carhaix-Plouger in Brittany.

ROYAL National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) lifeguards will be back on our local beaches this May half term. Red and yellow flags will be flying on Teignmouth and Dawlish beaches from Friday, May 24 to Saturday, June 1, daily, from 10am to 6pm.

COUNCILLORS in Dawlish have been putting the flags out. Newly elected Mayor Cllr Anthony James and his deputy Cllr Lynda Littlewood made one of their first joint duties raising the three beach awards.
