Yes, I know, before anyone tells me, we have had working parties and questionnaires and similar stuff on this subject before but........ It is going to happen again! So contact the town hall if you would like to be involved/have any indeas This is from the minutes of the last council meeting held early last month. (my emphasis in bold) "Now that we have our new Clerk on board ...
In spite of what plod is saying to convince others that he is right and I am wrong. As you know I made a request to Bournemouth Council about the use of their ANPR. Because plod has said they have approval to use ANPR in there car parks, that was not true either. Readers will note that I have asked one specific question and there has been no answer to it. Even if there was aproval to use ANPR ...
I would assume that a fixed-price contract would have been negotiated, with penalty clauses for late delivery. PS welcome back Diane Mondeo!
It is no joke, Bastins has been one of the best known shops in Dawlish. Let us look at why Dawlish is on its knees and it is not just Sainsbury's which is the problem. If I had my way I would dig up that useless wide path beside the lawn and put it back as parking, we must have lost around 20 parking spaces at least. In the middle of the long wall, now gone, was an access point into the park ...
I don't think you will get a lot for 4.5M. Watch the price go up!!!!!!
I imagine it is talking about the proposed link road joining up the Sainsbury's roundabout area with the Gatehouse area. I remember from the plans that part of the road would need a bridge.
What new bridge and where ? New section of link road - where ? Certainly a lack of detail and lots of fluff.
I don't have a problem with eating food that is more local to us. And continental Europe is a darn site nearer to us than anywhere else on the planet (barring the Republic of Ireland). @Diane Mondeo - if, say, just for the sake of argument, we were to have no imports whatsoever from continental europe do you really believe that would stop the illegal imports of drugs, people and ...
Yes, lets not hinder the illegal transportation and import of drugs, people and guns through our ports from Europe. Even the mobile x-ray units for checking containers/trailers at U.K. ports was stopped because it was against the human rights of illegal immigrants coming into the country. The U.K. is like a ship at sea with no one to steer it and I believe there is an iceberg on the horizon.
All those lorries, all that pollution. Perhaps we should eat food that is more local to us. When I was young we ate according to the season, it was no great hardship.
