I read this in one of yesterday's national newspapers: "It is important that he has the chance to see what people in other friendly nations really think of him, and I am sure the British public will be happy to oblige in their tens of thousands." Perhaps he'll be given a tour of our iconic Wembley stadium.....
I imagine (and I use the word imagine because I can't find any information anywhere on the town council website pertaining to this lawn working group) that this group is meeting again today at 10.00am. Somewhere in the Manor House. What they will be discussing and what they have discussed so far still not known by us, the electorate.
I agree that not everyone has computer access or knowledge and even if they do it doesn't follow that they do online banking. But, it seems that many do. Hence the drop in face to face transactions. What is a disgrace is that the closing of the last bank in town will be a great stress on those people who depend on being able to bank face to face. Everyone does not have computer access or knowledge. Lots of people need to access CASH in an amount that the Co-op or other ATMs cannot deal with. Where is the council on this? I was under the impression that the police had identified the dog owner and had gone to his home. If that's wrong, please post it. The dog needs to be put down, the owner fined the amount to replace the swan and banned from having dogs in the future.
