Completely agree leatash. But I find the venom coming from people online quite frightening. There's no reason to put a dog down or target all dogs in general. The owner is the only one who needs to be punished in this case. Dog should have been on a lead, full stop. Take a look at some of the comments about dogs though, nasty.

flo i would imagine the owner of the dog didnt decide to take his dog on the Lawn to kill a Swan his mistake was to ignore the sign's asking dog owners to keep there dogs on a lead i see dog owners doing the same on a daily basis.

There are some terrible people that we have to put up with, but shouldn't have too. I remember many years ago when the motorway was opened to Exeter. I was coming back from Cullumpton and hadn't gone that far when I came across a bag in the centre of the near side lane. Possibly containing slug pellets or another unknown chemical. We advise local ...

From the Teignmouth and Dawlish Neighbourhood Police: Devon and Cornwall Police are urging shopkeepers in the area to be on their guard following a series of distraction thefts in Devon and Cornwall. The male appears to be travelling around Devon and Cornwall targeting small businesses. Whilst in the store he tells the cashier that his mother or grandmother has left a walking stick or ...

It has been suggested to me that in the absence of any information concerning this working group being on the town council website, and no information about it in the Gazette, that I should write a letter for publication in said paper putting to a wider audience what I know about the working group (which is on the previous thread). I am in two minds about this. Pro - if I think more people ...

Cassandra you have a valid point but my generation are on borrowed time and the next generation down have the wherewithal and they and the generation behind them will see the High Street go the way of the Dodo. My childrens lives revolve round there phones and laptops and they totally depend on the internet my fear for my children is what happens if the internet disappears through some global ...

Just as well you moved to Dawlish, isn't it?
