Give them a chance, they've only been in position for a couple of months and their cause has not been aided by the sabotage attempts of a certain couple of people who were very close to the ousted ex-councillors.
Anyone on here know whether there is any intention to clear the green slime from the brook/stream/Daw? Nobody bothered to clear it until far too late last summer; in my opinion pre-emptive action needs to be taken. Of course I would be happy to offer my services as a volunteer.
Pleased to see from their Facebook page that Too Delicious have been re-assessed, and now have a 5 Star food hygiene rating.
Thank goodness for that. I dread to think what might have happened had someone followed the very obvious trail and had logged in as you...
Good question. Be wary though of leaving too much information when registering on other sites, if you wish to remain anonymous. Its amazing what a 30 second Google search can result in. ;-)
I applaud people who have balls to expose wrongdoings - you have the right to be anonymous, why though is beyond me seeing as you are clearly so passionate about your cause. Have the authorities acted beyond the law in this particular case. Like I say, my sympathies are with the residents.
Where did the residents park 3 years ago? Sounds stupid to me that they've reimposed the restrictions, however with some people you can't win - they moan when restrictions aren't followed to the letter, yet moan when they are (as in this case). My sympathies are with the residents, not with those with an axe to grind (such as Peter).
This stance by the property owner is completely self-defeating! He would rather leave the place empty for the sake of £6K - i.e. just 3 months rent? Had he paid for the work himself 12 months ago, and found a tenant, he'd be £12K better off by now! It makes no sense to leave a place empty for the sake of a relatively small bit of investment.
Thanks Lynne. I'm sure that the people who benefit from this Devon-based charity will not worry whether or not it is located in Newton Abbot. And I'm also sure that Dawlish people are pleased to have a free collection service that is for a good cause.
And sure enough it is! https://eforms.teignbridge.gov.uk/SnapSurveys/Dawlish_NP/planning_se_230511.htm Could have saved myself a 2nd Class stamp had I have thought to check before lol.
