Has anyone else completed this survey and sent it off to TDC? I'd be interested to read what suggestions others on here have made to improve our town. This is possibly a one in a lifetime opportunity and I really hope that loads of other people have been putting forward constructive ideas.

I picked mine up in the Tourist Information Centre (it's not just for tourists lol), though I'd be surprised if it's not also available on-line on the excellent TDC website.

Anyone else spotted the methodological flaws in this survey........like (and as with the Dawlish by-election polling card issue that I've highlighted on a separate thread) unless:

1. You have a computer (and go on Dawlish.com - and let's face it not that many do)

2. You buy the Dawlish Gazette (not all do)

3. You read the freebie Dawlish Post (and not all do that either)

You are not that likely to know about it.

Then throw in:

4. There is no control over how many times any one individual can register her/his thoughts

5. Does it ask if you are a tourist or a resident? (I don' think so)

and the overall results may not reflect what people in Dawlish would like to have happen but reflect, obviously, the results of those who have filled out the form (and like I said there's no controlling how many times any one individual may do that)

And it's not just me who thinks the above.
