Got furniture, electrical goods, white goods etc in reasonably good nick that you no longer need? Or are you in of need the same? Then suggest you contact Devon Furniture Forum. I'd never heard of them until a van drew up just now outside a neighbour's and started loading up with all their unwanted furniture and lamps. www.dff.org.uk tel; 01626 362313 (Newton Abbott)

Nice one Lynne and I thought this forum was for the benifit of Dawlish not Newton Abbot, whats wrong with the local businesses that provide the same service. Stuff Newton Abbot text your items and contact details to 07853530491 and keep it local

Thanks Lynne. I'm sure that the people who benefit from this Devon-based charity will not worry whether or not it is located in Newton Abbot. And I'm also sure that Dawlish people are pleased to have a free collection service that is for a good cause.

@MugOnHead - well now, if there were to be such a service in dawlish do you not think that i would be one of the first to be telling everyone about it? perhaps you could tell us more about the organisation/firm that is on the end of that number you've given.
