THE coastguard has reminded dog owners to keep their pets on leads near cliff edges following an incident at Dawlish Warren in which two dogs had to be rescued. The decision by health bosses to move Teignmouth Hospital's Minor Injuries Unit to Dawlish has been met with 'bitter disappointment' by campaigners. A DERELICT building was set on fire in an arson attack last night. The fire service was called to reports of a fire within a building on Weech Road in Dawlish. These pictures show what is believed to be more than 100 jellyfish washed up on a Devon beach. The creatures appear to be barrel jellyfish, which can reach 35in in diameter. They are harmless to humans but beachgoers are advised not to touch them. Two hives containing thousands of bees stolen from an orchard near Dawlish between June 9 and 10.
